Test on Monday!

Test on Monday!!!!!!! Review dittos are being handed out tomorrow!

Any questions be sure to ask me during class!!

Extra help will be provided when asked!

Below is a quote from Mother Teresa. Quotes can tell us a lot about history. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, People may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, They may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway."

Stop Manifesting and Try to Be Civil!

Good Evening Class,

Since we are behind the state curriculum we are going to be finishing up Manifest Destiny tomorrow and also start looking at the Civil War.....which happens to be one of my favorite times in U.S. History.
It may seem that we are jumping around 1800s a lot...it's because we are. I am only doing this so we can finish what you guys didn't complete last year. Not a big deal, but it must be done.

I'll be with you every step of the way.

Night!

We had a very good lesson today! I decided to give you another picture that focuses on the Native American removal from their land. Try to focus on a couple of key points.
  1. The person being buried.
  2. The old woman crying.
  3. The conditions of how they traveled.
  4. Understand that they took everything that they own.
Remember to complete your homework!
